Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Patric McGroarty is a multi–Juno Award–winning and multi-nominated audio engineer. Formally trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music and proudly holds a degree in Jazz Performance from Humber College, he has been an active and respected member of the music community for more than 20 years. His work spans a broad spectrum, from solo singer songwriters, symphony orchestras, all the way to the letter “A” and “O” on Sesame Street.

Projects Patric has contributed to have received Grammy nominations, Juno Awards, Canadian Folk Music Awards, and Canadian Latin Music Awards.

He has mixed over 1,100 television episodes, 100 live-to-air radio concerts, 150+ live-streamed performances, and has played on, recorded, or contributed to more than 150 albums.

Patric’s strong foundation in music theory, combined with his ability to read orchestral scores, SATB arrangements, lead sheets, and more, allows him to bridge communication between musicians, producers, and engineers—ensuring clarity, efficiency, and creative cohesion throughout every project.
